For ten years Hattie was the London correspondent for a German pop magazine, interviewing musical luminaries from Meatloaf and Metallica. She then spent three joyous years as the in-house comedy writer at Comic Relief.

Reviews for her first novel Cinema Lumière (published by Red Door) ranged from “A stunning debut” (Huffington Post) to ‘One of this year’s must-reads” (Daily Mirror).

Her second novel The Spectacular Vision of Oskar Dunkelblick will be published in September 2018.
